Lucknow: ATS has camped on Saturday after getting the secret information of the conspiracy plot of terror attack before the Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj. According to IG (ATS) Asim Arun, in the interrogation of the UTS ATS who had earlier torn up the modules of terrorists, it was revealed that terrorists are planning to attack large religious gatherings. After this UP ATS has started work in coordination with the NSG, UP Police and other security agencies in Kumbh Mela. He told that ATS's blackcat commando squad took control in the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela along with the MockDrill. Formerly, the terrorists arrested by the UP ATS had also revealed that they planned to attack on large religious events.

The IG said that trained commandos of ATS during the Kumbh Mela would be prepared for the safety of the fair with full preparation. He said that ATS is working on two levels. First of all, any terrorist module can be destroyed before getting help with the help of security agencies, and secondly, trained ATS commandos will be ready to carry out the operation under prompt action in case of any terrorist attack. Kumbh Mela is starting in Prayagraj from January 15. It is estimated that 12 to 15 crore pilgrims coming from the country and abroad in this fair are expected. In such a situation, the security arrangements for the fair will also be a major challenge for the security agencies and the state government.
